Welcome to H.I.R.E.

I started this because at the time I was in search of myself. One thing I found in this journey was my Native American Heritage that was hidden out of shame for generations. When I found out I was part Cherokee I joined my tribe and am no longer ashamed of who and what I am. As a child I always understood the Native American side of me, something in me hungered for knowledge of what I was feeling.

I knew there was something deeper something calling me home, to learn from them and in turn fight for them.  I know I am to help people, to teach people and to learn from them beyond that I am not sure there is a place for me in this world, but I enjoy the challenge of trying to figure it out.

The more I learn about my people and our struggles the more angry I get and the more I want to empower all Native Americans. I think we are loosing a part of ourselves and what our ancestors fought so hard for. We are in a time of war and I am not talking about the one overseas I am talking about the ones on our own lands in our own backyards, a war that only knowledge can win. The more anyone tries to silence us the more it proves we hold the power, for if it was not so there would be no reason to silence us.
